Four Nigerian teenagers have made the country proud by winning a bronze medal at the International Festival of Engineering, Science and Technology which took place in Tunisia.

The boys are students of St. John’s Science and Technical College in Anambra State.

Ugwuish Ogonna, Chuka-Umeora Anthony, Nwachukwu Daniel, and Machi Dominic represented Nigeria at the 9-day festival and they are being praised by web users who, yet again, turned it into a tribal issue.

Some web users pointed out the fact that they are all Igbo boys and wondered why their tribe isn’t being mentioned now that they have done something good, but when 5 Igbo men committed a crime in Dubai, their tribe was the major topic of discussion. Others cautioned about the dangers of making everything about tribe.
