If you don’t want to inherit curses, stop bullying Mohbad’s father and dictating to him how to grieve – Yomi Fabiyi tells Nigerians

Actor and activist, Yomi Fabiyi has slammed Nigerians attacking late singer Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, for granting a series of interviews in which he demanded a DNA test on his grandson, Liam and also spoke on how his son left his properties in the custody of his wife, Wunmi.

Aloba during the last Coroner inquest, said he doesn’t trust Wunmi and that his late son told him Wunmi was always putting sleeping pills in his noodles.

“I  shared 18 years together with my son, and he had no record of any terminal disease. I only took him to a chemist when he was 16 for treatment of rashes. I don’t trust his wife. My son told me she always put sleeping pills in his noodles and went to another room to sleep with another signee in the same house. Mobhad made efforts to reconcile me with his mother,” he told the Coroner’s inquest last Friday, October 27

Some Nigerians have berated the father and said all he cares about are his son’s material possessions and not justice for his son who died in controversial circumstances.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Yomi argued that people should stop dictating to Mr Aloba how he should mourn his son who died at 27 years old.

He argued that if Wunmi is clean, she should come forward and deny the allegations levelled against her by the distraught father.
