The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play against Croatia, Iceland and familiar foe, Argentina, in the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup according to draws made in the Kremlin, Russia this afternoon.
The draws hosted by Gary Lineker alongside other top football legends like Diego Maradona and Cafu will see Nigeria play against a Lionel Messi captained Argentine side loaded with plethora of stars plying in Europe’s best leagues, a rejuvenated Iceland side that shocked the football world in the Euro 2016 tournament and a Croatian side led by Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric- all in group D.
Meanwhile in other groups, Gareth Southgate’s England side will come up against highly-rated Belgians then face Tunisia and minnows, Panama.
Meanwhile Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal have an upheal task as they have been paired against Spain, Morroco and Iran.
