Hillary Clinton shades Donald Trump for his tweets advocating for Americans to return to work amid coronavirus pandemic to avoid crippling the economy

Hillary Clinton has thrown shade at Donald Trump after the US President took to Twitter to advocate for Americans to go back to work amid the coronavirus pandemic to avoid crippling the economy.

Donald Trump called for people to return to work, stating that the longer it takes for them to resume work, the harder it will be to start up the economy.

He tweeted: “This is not about the ridiculous Green New Deal. It is about putting our great workers and companies BACK TO WORK!”

“Congress must approve the deal, without all of the nonsense, today. The longer it takes, the harder it will be to start up our economy. Our workers will be hurt!”

He added: “Our people want to return to work. They will practice Social Distancing and all else, and Seniors will be watched over protectively & lovingly. We can do two things together. THE CURE CANNOT BE WORSE (by far) THAN THE PROBLEM! Congress MUST ACT NOW. We will come back strong!”

And Hillary Clinton responded via Twitter.

She wrote: “It’s incredible that this has to be said: Letting thousands of people needlessly suffer and die is wrong. It’s also not a recipe for rescuing the economy.”

She then took a jab at Donald Trump, writing: “Please do not take medical advice from a man who looked directly at a solar eclipse.”
