A bride has been fined £450 after she knocked one of her wedding guest’s teeth out because she thought the victim “made a move” on her new husband.

Audrey Stevenson, 46, of Bo’ness, Scotland, left former best friend, Veronica Bannon, needing cosmetic surgery after she grabbed her hair and smashed her face into a door.

The bride and her spouse Scott Allan missed their honeymoon flight to Mexico after they were arrested by police and jailed on their wedding night.

A court heard how council worker Stevenson attacked Bannon because she thought she had made a “romantic move” on the groom. She agreed to pay the £450 fine in a four monthly installments.
