Kogi Election: Collation Officer presents N50k bribe offered by politicians in Igalamela-Odolu

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Collation officer in Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State presented a N50k bribe he was offered as he reeled out the result of the election conducted within the district on Saturday November 16. 

Though some agencies were enlisted to stop vote-buying during the governorship and sentaorial election conducted in the state, eyewitnesses alleged that it was still rampant. 

The Collation officer who presented the money at the INEC headquarters in the state where the collation of result is ongoing, however did not reveal the politician or the political party that offered the bribe.
