New international passport with 10-year validity will cost N70,000 – NIS

The passport will go for the sum of N70,000 and has over 20 features, while the other one with a five-year validity will be going for half the first price, N35,000, The Punch reports.

The public relations officer for NIS, Sunday James, revealed details about the new Nigerian passport on Monday, January 21. Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the federal government assured that it would soon begin the total production of e-passports in Nigeria. The minister of interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, said the ministry is working towards domestication of e-passport production within the country.
