Nigerian immigrant climbs on top of a bus in Italy and threatens to kill himself if they don’t give him a house and €50 per day

A Nigerian immigrant in Italy caused a scene over the weekend when he climbed on top of a bus and threatened to kill himself if the government doesn’t give him a house and pay him €50 per day.

The man, who was speaking Yoruba, is heard saying, “Emi ma pa ra mi” which translates to, “Me, I’ll kill myself”.

He walked the length of the bus and back, screaming and threatening to commit suicide while onlookers gathered round and filmed.

The incident happened in Palermo in Italy. Policemen and firefighters later arrived the scene to intervene. At this point, the crowd watching the man had increased. It took them a while but they finally mounted a ladder and got the man down from the bus.
