Woman suspected of burning down Wendy’s restaurant where Rayshard Brooks was killed, has been arrested

Natalie White, the woman suspected of burning down the Atlanta Wendy’s fast-food restaurant where Rayshard Brooks was fatally shot by police, has been arrested.

Police issued an arrest warrant for her on June 20 and shared surveillance footage of her inside a store.

White was taken into custody on Tuesday June 23, by Fulton County sheriff’s fugitive unit. She’s been charged with first-degree arson.

The Wendy’s was set alight during a protest the night of June 13, one day after Brooks was killed and White is believed to be one suspect involved in setting fire to the Wendy’s, although White’s lawyer, Drew Findling, said his client did not start the fire.
