Photos of a dilapidated isolation centre in Kano State

As states in Nigeria roll out different measures to curb the spread of coronavirus, photos of a dilapidated isolation centre in Kano State has gone viral after being shared online. 

TheCable visited the Kano isolation centre located at Yar Gaya in Dawakin Kudu local government and it was quite a sorry sight.

This is coming after Governor Abdullahi Ganduje ordered the closure of all borders and routes linking Kano state to other parts of the country including the Aminu Kano International Airport. 

According to Salihu Yakasai, the Director General of Media and Communications for Kano State Government, no one would be allowed to enter or leave Kano with effect from 12midnight on Friday March 27.
