Photos+Video-Ugandan man marries 3 wives at once & two of them are sisters

Mohammad Ssemanda, 50-year-old  food vendor at Kasenyi landing site, in Wakiso district, Uganda stunned many when he married three women at once and not minding the fact that two of the brides are sisters.

According to Uganda’s New Vision, the wedding ceremony took place on Wednesday afternoon at a one Sophia Namaalo’s home, located at the Katabi town council in Wakiso district.

The wedding ceremony was presided by one Sheikh Swaleh Mugenyi.

The man who appeared happy on his special day as he posed for photos with the three women clad in wedding gowns, revealed that all his wives openly agreed to marry him on the same day because they love him, despite financial woes.

According to him, “My wives are not jealous against each other. Good enough, each has got a home and I promise to work harder and support them,” Ssemanda said.

The brides included a 48-year-old Salmat Naluwugge, his first wife whom they have spent 20 years with their five children. Others women are, Jameo Nakayiza, a 27-year- old and Mastulah Namwanje aged 24 who are sisters. They also have children.

Speaking on behalf of other wives and herself, Salmat Naluwugge praised Allah for having made their wedding possible and having granted her a 20-year blissful relationship with Ssemanda.

“I thank our husband for marrying us all at once, a sign that he will not discriminate or sideline any of us,” a visibly overjoyed Naluwugge said.

Some of the residents who witnessed the wedding ceremony praised Ssemanda’s move for marrying three women at once saying, it saves costs.
