Serena Williams chose to be magnanimous in defeat and she took to Instagram to congratulate her opponent, Simona Halep after she beat her to win her first Wimbledon title.
Serena congratulated Simona and went on to add that Simona was the best player at this year’s Wimbledon. Serena also revealed that she had fun these past two weeks and she thanked everyone for their support.
