Video-Man assaulted by police for filming a Lebanese man abusing a Nigerian man at Novare Mall in Lekki

A Nigerian man has accused the police and security officers at Novare Mall in Lekki, Lagos, of assaulting him because he recorded a Lebanese boss assaulting a Nigerian in the mall.

According to Ajibola, he went to the mall to watch a movie when he saw a Lebanese man ill-treating a Nigerian man. He immediately began recording the incident and when the Lebanese saw that he was being recorded, he got the security officers and police to deal with Ajibola for recording. They also forced him to delete the video but he was able to recover one video which he has now shared online.
